Pick your side. Watch the map change.

Map Rumble is a fictional territory-conquest series. Every US state, Canadian province and territory, Mexican state, and the nations and islands of Central America and the Caribbean fight on a flag map of North America with real borders. Two battles a day. Every outcome is a saved weighted random draw under a published seed commitment, so any episode can be replayed and checked.

Standings

Season 1 starts with 136 independent factions

Every state, province and island begins by holding only its own territory. The board updates here after each episode.

How a battle works

Real borders. Published math. Saved draws.

The draw

A random faction with a shared border attacks a random neighbour across a random land or sea border. Sea attacks fight at ×0.8.

The odds

Strength comes from effective population to the power 0.35 and five weighted ratings. Defenders get ×1.12. Type counters add 8%, a regional special adds 10% in its own category.

Five rounds

Production, Supplies, Movement, Readiness and Unity each get an independent weighted draw. First to three wins. No side ever drops below a 5% chance.

Conquest

The loser is absorbed, every territory it held changes flag. New land integrates over eight battles; winners carry momentum into the next fight.

Fan power

Fill your faction's pool.

Fan power comes in $5 steps from $5 to $50 into one pool per faction per season. Every $5 adds +1% strength to the faction's next battle ($5 = ×1.01, $25 = ×1.05, $45 = ×1.09); a full $50 pool secures that win.

+1% strength is about half a point on the odds bar at even odds, about four points at $45; the episode prints the before and after.

$5 a step

+1% strength per $5

Whatever is in the pool when your faction next fights is spent in that battle: a $20 pool is ×1.04, a $45 pool is ×1.09, in all five rounds, on the odds line.

Full pool
$50

Secures the win

A full $50 pool secures that win, shown openly as FAN POWER after the real draws play out. Two full pools in one battle make a FAN CLASH: both are spent and the real draws decide.

Any number of fans fill the pool; it is spent, whatever it holds, in the next battle the faction fights, and the faction is then done for the season. If the faction is conquered before the pool is spent, the pool becomes its rebellion fund (a bonus round at $50, a real draw, not a guarantee, home territory only). One pool per faction: boost or rebellion, not both.

Straight talk

What this is, and what it isn't

A game, not a forecast

Map Rumble is fiction. A win says nothing about any real place or the people who live there, and the type counters are invented game rules with made-up reasons.

Ratings are drafts

Every faction's five ratings are a neutral 50/100 calibration draft right now. Population, borders and specials are what make the odds differ. We say so on every card.

Specials under review

Each special is inspired by one regional fact. A source supports the fact, never the size of the bonus.
